These white barn prayer cards & acknowledgment cards are specifically designed for any woman who is new to praying. Whether you're new to the Christian faith, have never prayed before or find yourself struggling to get started with prayer, these prayer cards can help you at the beginning of your journey.
When learning something new, repetition can be helpful. These prayer cards focus on the fruits of the spirit and lead you through a single prayer with slight variations. Begin with this prayer "recipe" but modify, expand and tailor your prayer as you become more comfortable praying.
Acknowledgment cards are also included. When you feel the fruits of the spirit grow, be it in a small or big way, make note of it. These moments are wonderful markers of God's blessings & your own journey.
The fabric holder displays whichever prayer card you are focusing on and acts as a visual reminder to pray each day. It can be hung by the sari silk loop in a place you're sure to see it. I've added a wood, butterfly button to allow you to bind a prayer to the holder and to remind you that prayer is beautiful & transformational. But, just like the butterfly, it takes time.
These prayers are for beginning your prayer journey - they aren't meant to be the destination. Pray each day and you will find your own rhythm; a way to pray that feels very personal and real to you. God would rather hear an imperfect prayer than silence, so be bold and be unafraid!

Do you use adhesives?
No. My prayer cards and holders are adhesive-free
Are the holders washable?
No.
Are the prayer cards & holder suitable for children?
Yes but only children old enough to understand no part of the holder should be placed in their mouth. I make every effort to securely attach the buttons, but my fabric holders are not meant for small children or for children/adults with special needs at risk for choking & are not meant as toys.
Will my prayer card holder fray?
Yes. I intentionally create my prayer card holders with raw edges that will fray. This gives the holder a soft, worn look & represents our imperfections accepted and forgiven by God's grace.
Why is each card slightly different?
These are truly handmade cards. Each card is cut by hand from heavyweight cardstock and the sizes may vary slightly from card to card.
